"My College Tuition"

I recently built a website. Take a look here, or here, or...even here.
School is expensive and that is the reason for the website. Check it out!

Marine Corps ball.

My friend Kayli Smith came into town for her Boyfriends Marine Corps Ball and brought a friend, named Caitlin, and I did their hair and make-up. They both had really fine hair but it turned out really nice.

I had a lot of fun!!! Let me know what you think!!!

November 08, 2008

We carved pumpkins for Halloween.

We saved the guts for pumpkin bread.

All and all we had a good time.

We were Darth Maul and the Emperor.

Michael did his own make-up...I'm so proud of him.

Pumpkin Patch

We went to the pumpkin patch and had some fun...

We striked some poses.....

And experienced some misfortune...

What are the odds?

YouTube Video Contest

Ok, so I finally did it! I recently uploaded a video on YouTube for a contest called, "It's Cool to be a Paul Mitchell School Future Professional." If I do win, I get a free dinner with John Paul Dejoria and Winn Claybaugh, who are the owners of Paul Mitchell Systems. This is extremely important to me and could really help me progress in my career. The contest has nothing to do with quality of video. The voting starts now and ends October 18th at Midnight. The winner will be determined by the highest number of VIEWS and VOTES. If you want me to win, rate my video with 5 stars and get YOUR FRIENDS to view it to. In fact, forward this to EVERYONE you know too! Here's how to vote:

If you don't already have a YouTube account,

2) Create a FREE account (just so you can vote) - It's really EASY to sign up.

3) Immediately after clicking "Create My Account" you be sent to a page that says "Please Check Your Email." DON'T WORRY about checking your email. Just paste this into the address bar: (and hit enter to go there).

School Video Project - A Day to Remember

For my very first video project ever, I took a song, some pictures, and created a 1 minute slideshow of the band A Day to Remember. Now, the band's genre is rock so... just know that the song is probably little bit "harder" of a sound than most of you probably listen to.  Enjoy.

Olympic Poster

Here is a poster I created for a school assignment. The main focus was typography so I've incorporated different fonts, weights, and sizes in my design.

Signature gathering 2008

Michael and I went to the Signature gathering in Las Vegas and it was amazing. It was even better than caper which I thought would be hard to do. There were fashion shows, dancers, musicians, and paint artists. I got to meet John Paul Dejoria only for a second. He is a really great person doing great things for this world and I have a lot of respect for him. I also had a chance to talk to Winn Claybaugh and he gave me his cell phone number to talk to him about the mentorship portfolio I'm doing about him. He said if i need more clarity that I could e-mail him or call him on his cell phone to ask him about it. I thought that was pretty awesome. Anyway here are some pictures of the event. We also went to the Bellagio and watched the fountain show.

We also went to the padres game...

And we paid 5$ for an ice cream cookie sandwich....Daaaaaang.... and to think I could have had a black tie mousse cake for the same price. Oh well. The padres lost. I didn't really care I was just excited to get away from the screaming kids. But I did enjoy spending time with friends.

Del Mar Fair

So on the way home from the Johnson Family Reunion, we went to the Del Mar Fair. We saw a chihuahua that could do a hand stand when the owner put him in the right position. It was pretty cool. We also saw a hypnotist and that was pretty interesting. Michael also won 2 prizes for some of his work.

Michael's New Website

Here's a website I had to do for a class I'm taking. What you see is all hand done. I did not use a template. I wrote all of the code myself. Click on the picture below to be sent to the site. Hope you like it.

Breann LIVE on tv

The new movie with Adam Sandler called, "You Don't Mess With the Zohan" featured Sandler as an Iraqi Combat soldier who wanted to become a hair dresser. In one clip of the movie, he tries to apply to do hair at the Paul Mitchell School. So...for one of Breann's Design Team event, they were able to go to a Robert Cromeans Salon, here in Pacific Beach, and do a LIVE coverage of hairstyling in that salon. Here are some links to Breann LIVE on tv. Hope you enjoy them.

I've been taking an web html/xhtml/css for two weeks now and I've tried to make some of my own websites. I've only really been able to change font styles and color and add some templates but I'll be building really cool websites in a few weeks.

Our Apartment

I recently finished a project for my Adobe Illustrator class. We had to design a poster for a "made up" company and so I decided to create an interior design for "Johnson Construction." Hope you like it.

Faux Hawk 2 comment

Pretty DANG cool, eh?

The reason this little thing appears is because I added an alt tag

Breann cut my hair for a second time. Same cut and same style before. She only took 45 minutes to cut it this time, whereas before, it took twice as long. Enjoy.

Cut, Color...and a little bit of Inspiration!

I got a new haircut and decided to put some bleach peek-a-boos in it. Do you like?

Today I had the opportunity to talk to Winn Claybaugh...again...but THIS time, I asked him to be my mentor. He said that he would be honored. So I think I've got some really good networking opportunities ahead of me for my career.
